“We stayed at Riverfront for the weekend to see the eclipse. I chose this park for the reviews & being tucked away in the back country away from big cities. It's a very quiet park. We noticed a large portion of RVs were longer-term guests, and there is no community bathrooms or showers. There are no firepits, but there is a "community firepit". We brought our electric griddle. The park was very clean with beautiful trees. The owner John was very welcoming & we appreciated that it isn't a party-type weekender park. We even had zero concerns leaving our camper to spend an evening in Corpus with family, which was only an hour's drive from the park. We literally couldn't have asked for anything more here. The wax used here is sugar-based, so it cannot be kept warm in a pot constantly and must be heated up every 3-5 minutes. “One of my favorite places to stop in for a burger and fries when I'm out for a ride on the bike, love going here because with my disability it is nice and quiet and I don't have to deal with lots of noise like most restaurants and I'm supposed to be traveling with my service dog for my seizures and alot of the other places want to give flak over service dogs even though it's against the the law for registered service dogs. Never had that issue here. I lost my older service dog and now have a new one who is now fully registered and ready to start her on riding with me also. She does great in car everywhere we go, So if you're disabled you will love this place for a quick easy place if you're out and don't want to deal with waiting at other places, my anxieties get to me in crowded places and I live in glen rose and I'll ride all the way to walnut springs just for a burger at this store because I don't like crowded places.”

“What an incredible gift, giving birth under the care of GB was, if only every pregnant mama could be so lucky! During our prenatal visits GB had a natural ability to make me feel like a priority. She is a wonderful listener and an expert in her field. Whenever I had questions or concerns, she was always a gentle guide, making me feel like my intuition held all the answers and she was simply a sounding board with which I could better listen to myself. As a traditionally medically anxious person, the idea of having to have medical appointments for months prior to giving birth really worried me. Before finding GB, I had traditional OB care for my first 3 prenatal appointments. I think I cried prior to each one, at each one, and after each one. Once we found GB that all changed, I left each appointment feeling like I just finished visiting with a friend and was eager for the days or weeks to pass until I could come back. While i'd like to protect the intimate details of my birth, I'm happy to share that I have never felt so powerful, capable, in touch with my body, or in love with my husband. GB's presence was calm, full of faith in the process, and amazingly (even though she has seen this happen countless times before) in awe of the miracle of it all. While laboring I was calmed by the knowledge that she was there monitoring me and monitoring my baby, while also giving my husband and I space to experience the magic of it all in a way that felt private and uniquely ours. Post-birth GB has continued to be an amazing listener, supportive guide, and provider of great resources. We have relied on her in person as well as via text and phone support almost daily and she has continued to make us feel like a priority, taking such sweet and gentle care of our tender new parent souls. I could go on and on, we love you, GB!”
