“Dr. Alvares is a truly amazing and competent doctor. I love his experience, insight, treatment plan, and the time he spends with both of my sons. The treatments are making a huge difference in my allergy and asthma kiddo. However, the office staff is a mess. I can never get a call-back from a nurse. Half the time, I get dumped to a voicemail box that is "full". After two years of allergy shots and multiple requests, they can never get a statement mailed to me. I always have to call in periodically and just ask what my balance is and pay over the phone. I filled out a records request twice in order to get my boys' medical records from their office, but the requests just went ignored. Multiple times we've taken my son to get his shots and discovered that the office is randomly closed when they are normally open. We're dealing with all these pain points because Dr. Alvarez is really, really good. I just wish he had better staff.”

“My wife's grandmother has been cared for at Colip house for a few years. We have been able to visit with our kids many times and have been happy to see her doing well there. We have been able to do a variety of things such as singing Christmas carols with a piano player, do puzzles, take walks, and drive her places whenever she feels like it. She has stayed happy and healthy during her stay there and it has been very reassuring.”

My bacon, egg and cheese burrito is on a terrific tortilla! Thank goodness it's not out of a grocery store bag of thick flour tortillas that stick in your teeth. This tortilla is light with just the right chew. The burrito is also rolled perfectly tight. I got a muffin as well, but was disappointed to see is came out of a pre-made grocery container. Perhaps this lovely local shop could partner with a local bakery. Just a thought.”
