“I did not purchase any products - this review is based solely on the interaction that I had with the business. We were driving through town, on our way to our campsite and saw that there were a lot of interesting shops in Castroville. Seeing that I had my dogs with me, we thought treats would be nice so we detoured to investigate. When we pulled up, we saw that they were loading up their vehicle to prep for a huge festival. The owner stopped everything she was doing, to greet us and talk to us. She was going to go through her stuff and get my pups something. She then asked about allergies, which my sensitive boxer/pit mix has tons of - we found out the treats were not going to work. So instead, she tells us to wait. She runs in and brings us a set of holiday wrapped coffee mugs and a couple of tennis balls for the dogs. Unfortunately, we did not get to try any of the treats. But this is the kind of business that we should all support. Thank you, for making our stop memorable.”

“I bought a 2013 Hyundai Sonata 8/30/22 and was very impressed with not only my sales person, but all the extras I received after I bought the car. 1 year of road side assistance, 4 free oil changes and 2 tire rotations and some other things as well. I drove over an hour to pick my car up and the salesman actually stayed after to take care of me! And not only did I not get the car I had originally picked out but he helped me look and test drive others even though it was already time for him to go home. My parents have also bought from here and have complete trust in this company. I recently let my other car go back from another company because I couldn’t even keep it on the road due to so many mechanical issues, but I was guaranteed warranty with my car from Barrett! Everything was so quick and easy paperwork wise, I was truly impressed. I’ve never been in and out within an hour if even that. Thank you so much to these great people for helping me get into something reliable! I wouldn’t go to any other dealership again.”

“Please, Please, Please use John's Transmission & Engine. Coming back to Austin from a fishing trip in Port Aransas, the water pump to my truck suddenly and completely came apart as soon as I came off the ferry. I pulled into the parking lot of the HEB in Aransas Pass at about 2:30pm on a Thursday. I called a couple of mechanics in Port Aransas and none of them were willing to help me so late in the day and could only offer to try to fit my vehicle in for repairs on the next day. John, however, listened to my need to get back to Austin on that same day and agreed to work on my vehicle immediately. I limped my truck about a mile away where John had already pushed other vehicles out of the way that could wait until tomorrow. He immediately began to work on my vehicle personally. It was a difficult job and required lots of patience and know-how. John stayed until 8 pm. to complete the job himself and then checked and rechecked his work so that I would not get stuck again on the drive home. He also gave me an extra gallon of water and coolant for the drive. And to top it all off, the cost of the repair was extremely fair and he didn't even consider charging me extra or taking advantage of a traveling tourist in need. Honesty, Skill and Customer Service Orientated!!! Highly Recommended.”

“Patricia has done permanent eyeliner for me. I found her to be impeccably clean and sterile. Her work was PERFECT! Her recommendation for eyeliner color was an excellent choice. She was extremely kind and patient during the procedure. Her use of numbing cream was highly beneficial. Your selection of a true professional for permanent make-up matters greatly! My original permanent eyeliner lady did not do numbing cream - ouch. And, perhaps even more importantly, the previous lady who did permanent eyeliner for me about 10 years ago made some mistakes. Patricia was able to clean her mistakes up as well. Please take your selection of a professional seriously. I cannot recommend Patricia highly enough. Please do consider her if you care about a clean and sterile environment, perfection in end results, comfort, proper color selection and honesty.”
