  I found this hotel to be very clean, a bit dated, but that did not impact my wish to potentially stay there again when in the Madison area. Everyone was very courteous and helpful. I enjoyed the amount of space in my room given that I was there on business and appreciated the sitting area. Wish they had USB ports in the room but I had plug-in chargers so not a huge issue. Would definitely stay here again.

  Very comfy beds, clean room. We were happy to find a hotel that welcomed our dog. Conveniently located.
  They only had coffee and juices available for grab and go breakfast. Everything else (eggs, pancakes, French toast) you had to order and wait for it. I would have liked some fruit and yogurt options. Or cereal. We didn’t end up eating breakfast much while there because it was a pain and not many options.

  The hotel is well appointed, with comfortable beds, sheets, and surprisingly thick towels. The coffee station was on a counter just inside the door with a bar sink. The mirror above the counter has female friendly lighting.

  This is a good, clean, affordable hotel with a good hot breakfast (a basic requirement for us). It's in a good location to get to House on the Rock as well as Madison proper. It really only loses a star because the mattress in our room restricted blood flow to my arms when sleeping in my side. Otherwise everything else was as one might hope for the price.
