Elmwood Cottage Bakery

This bakery makes delicious cinnamon rolls! I’d go so far as to call them heavenly. They are pillowy soft with a scrumptious glaze reminiscent of old fashioned caramel poundcake. I look forward to trying more of their baked goods and will post additional reviews after I have!

So happy to support this wonderful local bakery and talented baker. We treated ourselves to her delicious cookies, muffins, bread and apple butter. Looking forward to trying all the other items on the menu as we know we won’t be disappointed.

Friendly local baker with many yummy items. I personally love the oatmeal chocolate chip cookies and the apple butter! The hand pies are great for small baked gifts. She was happy to individually pack them for school staff appreciation gifts last year.

It's a long drive for me, but worth it. The hand pies are to die for! If you are worried about such a guilty pleasure, take your bike and go to the Dismal Swamp right next door with a pastry picnic like me and my bestie did!

Good stuff from this home-based bakery. Owner is very communicative & cooperative. Loved the muffins and cookies we’ve had, and looking forward to trying more!
