  Well, I've been sugaring for almost a year now, and I was going to a place in Hampton, VA, which was a little ways from me, as I live in Suffolk, VA. I started looking for someone closer to my home, and I found “Sugar and Skin Spa”. To my surprise, I’ve had this gem less than 3 miles away from my home. My services were provided by Carol, and she was so pleasant in welcoming to her salon. She was thorough in providing her work history before rendering her services. Needless to say, I have found me a new salon that I be providing all my future needs. So, if you haven’t checked them out, please do so...I promise you will not be disappointed.

  Carol gave me an eyelash lift and tint and it looks amazing! I was nervous about it because I’d never had it done before but she walked me through the whole process and made me feel completely relaxed. She even tweezed my brows for me while we waited. My lashes turned out awesome!

  Huge thanks to Kelsey for taking care of me for my first brazilian wax! I was very nervous but she made me feel so comfortable by helping me understand every step of the process and she was very responsive to what I needed during my time with her. I couldn't ask for a better first experience with this service!

  I’m so happy I found this place. Kelsey is so awesome and informative. This was my first time getting sugared here, drove 45 minutes, and the drive is 100% worth it. I’ve been sugared and waxed prior to meeting with her. But let me tell y’all, SHE HURTS SO MUCH LESS. She goes in little sections and gets EVERYTHING. Also, the place is so cute and it’s so calming being inside. Ah, I’m so glad I found her and this place!!!

  Absolutely loved it here!!!!!! I’ve tried a couple sugaring spas prior to trying Sugar and Skin Spa and this place is definitely the best! Also, a major plus, it didn’t hurt! I was so relaxed the entire time. I had the pleasure of meeting Carol and she’s awesome!!! She was so knowledgeable and professional, from start to finish. She actually cared and wanted to educate me on skin care. I have zero complaints. If you’re looking at our reviews, trust that we are being honest. This place is pretty impressive, give it a shot!
