Miss Linda is the best! I would recommend her to anyone who wants to nurse but is having trouble with latching to lactation. One week out of the hospital, I was emotionally and physically drained, had received zero help from the lactation consultant at the hospital and had almost given up on nursing. My son just wouldn’t latch and I wanted to nurse so badly! From the first phone call, she had me reassured and gave me tips to get started before I even saw her. She gives you thorough written notes to follow and is only a phone call away if you need any assistance.

My breastfeeding journey was complicated by jaundice and shallow latch amongst other things. I saw 3 different lactation consultants in the hospital, but I didn't receive the level of professionalism and expertise that I got here. I would recommend this place to anyone having issues. I received very individualized instructions and helpful tips for my breastfeeding journey. I left feeling much more empowered and confident, and 6 months later, my son is still exclusively breastfed. Worth every cent, but very affordable.

I met with Linda about 15 months ago. We had only one appointment and it was the best thing I did for my daughter and I.
Linda is super knowledgeable, it took her 1 minute to see what the latching issue was and she fixed it like magic. I almost didn’t go see her thinking that it was too late for an appointment with a lactation consultant since my daughter was 3 weeks old.
If you have any issue at all breastfeeding don’t think twice, go see her. I wish I met her with my first child who I ended up not breastfeeding. I’m leaving this review not really for Linda but for the moms out there who need help. She is THE one to help you.

Linda was so kind, patient and understanding in helping me understand and cope with my oversupply and overactive letdown. Especially during a time where I did not have much breastfeeding support. I waited until 5 weeks to make our appt and wish I would've gone so much sooner! Now on baby #2 and geared up to call her again.

This woman was a gift sent from heaven in the first challenging days of new motherhood. No matter how major or minor the issue, who you have already seen, or what else you have going on in your busy life, GO SEE LINDA. She is so affordable it is actually ridiculous, especially considering her qualifications (Linda Chermside, RN, IBCLC). She clearly does this work out of love to help mothers and babies, and make herself available to all. I met twice with a lactation consultant at the hospital and she was ok, but sort of took a "just keep trying, you guys will get the hang of it" approach. When I got home and my milk came in my daughter was unable to latch properly and was screaming whenever I tried to help her attach. It was so distressing to me to be unable to feed her well. I called Linda and she was able to see us the next afternoon but spent about 10-15 minutes on the phone with me that night offering advice. When we went to the pediatrician the next morning, my daughter had lost 10% of her birth weight and my doctor said we'd have to supplement with formula and come back the next day to weigh her. I told my pediatrician I was seeing Linda that afternoon and my pediatrician said, "Oh she's amazing. Do whatever she says, even if it is different from what I tell you. Linda helped me succeed in breastfeeding my own son 14 years ago." Visiting Linda's home office was so cozy and inviting it was like getting a hug, but she was so quickly able to diagnose the problem we were having and showed me a very specific way to position my body and my daughter that was life-changing. She wrote down simple detailed personalized step-by-step instructions for me to follow at home. I can't express how grateful I am for this woman - the gift she gave me (the ability to confidently feed my child and have it be a loving, enjoyable experience for us both) was priceless. The pediatrician called that night and told me we didn't have to come in the next day or supplement with formula as long as Linda felt things were going OK. My daughter is now six weeks old and exclusively breast fed and doing great. I'm going to go back to see Linda just to get advice on efficient pumping and positioning, even though we aren't having problems, because she is so skilled and knowledgeable. Do NOT hesitate for a second to call her - if you have even the slightest issue or question breastfeeding she will help!!
