We love Dr McGhee! She is always advocating for her patients. She listens to our concerns and really takes the time to listen! She answers every question I have and the nurses and Diana are the kindest!!!
I have been taking all 3 of my children here since they were babies. I have seen Dr. McGhee handle all sorts of challenges with caring professionalism. She made my son's asthma manageable to the point where he could run cross country. Her rooms are color codes so it's makes it almost fun for kids to go to the doctor. The doors to the exam rooms open to the outside which is great for keeping super sick kiddos from the waiting area. This is especially important in times of covid 19. The bad reviews on here are likely due to problems with insurance. I have witnessed first hand rude unreasonable patients giving the staff a hard time about insurance claims. It does not set a good example for your kids when you, as a parent, scream at people trying to help you. Insurance problems are not Dr McGhees fault on her offices staff.
Let me tell you about this doctor! I have 5 kids ages 14,13, 12, 10 and 7. We just moved to the area and got full physicals on each child before the move. This woman is amazing! Low key, vested and through. I mean she doesn't miss a beat. She caught a MAJOR condition my son has, the the Gainesville, VA INOVA totally MISSED just 30 days earlier. Turns out he is in precocious puberty and she immediately referred us to a to endocrinologist. She may've saved my son. I saw a 2 star for her some where, shame on them! #buriedtreasure
