It was reassuring when he said I didn't have memory loss relating to dementia.. My learning disabilities appeared to be the primary issue. After more than a half century, I will finally get some answers. The hospital posts the doctor's notes for the patient to review. They are clinical observations, which can appear to be devoid of compassion. Some patients, who wrote reviews, were upset by the doctor's notes.The unvarnished truth is not always rainbows and unicorns. After being upset, I had to accept that what he wrote was true. I am looking forward to learning more. After living in the dark for so long. I am eager to be enlightened.”

“I have been with Dr. Dougan since before she started this practice. Dr. Walden and I have been having sessions weekly for over a year as well. Both are phenomenal psychologists. I have been in recovery for severe mental health issues stemming from childhood traumas, parents who struggled with substance abuse, and a chaotic marriage that resulted in divorce. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism about five months ago at a different doctor, who sent me home without explaining anything - I literally had to google the medication to figure out what I had. I’ve been struggling with symptoms for years. I saw Dr. Wallace today and she was just fantastic. I was late to my appointment due to traffic but they still saw me, Dr. Wallace took the time to get to know me and go through each component of my blood work to explain what it meant/where in the range I fell, and she reassured me about some health anxieties without making me feel ridiculous at all. She was upfront, concise, honest, and compassionate. The office staff was also friendly and helpful and answered all my questions. The experience was efficient, reassuring, and easy.
