  I cannot sing high enough praises for Rixey Manor and Ben and Isadora. The venue is absolutely stunning and from the very beginning Ben and Isadora make you feel like family. They are super responsive, accommodating, and have a lot of expertise to offer. They also did an awesome job making sure everything ran smoothly the day of the wedding. The ballroom has a lot of windows and natural light which was perfect for an indoor winter wedding. The space feels cozy and intimate and we loved all the different rooms available for our guests to mingle. Beautiful large property with plenty of options for outdoor photos.

  Everything about Rixey Manor was nothing but perfect. The venue is absolutely stunning. The views are amazing, and our guest raved about how beautiful the venue was all night. Isadora and Ben are nothing but amazing. They helped make my dreams come dream. I ran into some family issues while in the middle of planning my wedding and they did everything in their power to make sure my fiance and I could still get married there. They were so easy to work with and always available to talk to if need be. They hold a bridal boot camp every year and it saved my life. I learned so much that I wasn’t even aware I needed to learn. They truly go above and beyond for their brides and grooms. On the day of our wedding I was super sick and Isadora went out of her way to take care of me that day, making me broth to ensure I ate to constantly making me fresh tea. There is not one thing I regret or was unhappy with. If you are thinking is Rixey Manor for me the answer is YES! It is PERFECT you will not be disappointed.

  My niece chose Rixey Manor for her special day and it was a solid decision to have it here. The grounds and manor are beautifully decorated and maintained, especially for a wedding. Dora did an excellent job keeping the day on schedule and taking the stress off the newlyweds and their family.

  Our experience at Rixey Manor was more than we could have hoped for. We looked at so many venues a but we were drawn to Rixey because of the directness and warmth of Ben and Isadora. I am so glad we trusted our instincts because they were helpful throughout the whole process. On the day of the wedding I was shocked by how Isadora put everything together in a way that was uniquely my vision...but better! They really did make sure everything ran smoothly. The venue itself is gorgeous and nothing beats waking up to the view in the bridal suite. I felt like a princess and every detail of the weekend was magical. Don't hesitate to choose Rixey Manor for your special day.

  A wonderfully refreshing wedding venue without the rigidity of others in Virginia. Beautiful, yet charming and with a cozy feel. This was my first review as we were planning our special event.
  Update: Our wedding (daughter / son-in-law) was the most amazing and special event, that went well beyond our dreams and visions. Isadora and Ben did a phenomenal job at making sure the couple's visions came to fruition...offering their expertise and support every step of the way. From vendors to timelines to orchestrating the schedule to fixes for the last minute glitches, they are absolutely amazing. Rixey is charmingly unique, down to earth, and we had the most wonderful wedding experience here.
