  We LOVE Rappahannock River Campground! My husband and I got a bunch of friends and family together there for a reunion and we had a great time.
  
  The grounds are beautiful and you can camp right alongside the Rappahannock River -- plenty of soft spots for tents. There are picnic tables and fire pits, and they sell firewood there so you don't have to pack that or worry about collecting it. The outhouse is nice and clean (and close to get to, but it doesn't detract from the natural scenery). There is potable water readily available, and even showers if you want.
  
  I had the best experience with the owner, Steve, from beginning to end. He was easy to get ahold of and answered all my questions. He made sure that our large group had everything we needed, and he was super friendly and helpful.
  
  We're looking forward to having our reunion there again next year!

  Scenic campground on the always beautiful Rappahannock River. Wonderful campsites overlooking the water and the owners Mrs. Katie and Mr. Steve are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. You can fish in the pond, hike around the grounds or go on a Canoe, Kayak or Tubing trip down the river. Enjoy some smores and hot dogs over the fire. This is a rustic back to nature campground so no need to worry about some RV or camper pulling up with a loud generator ruining your peaceful evening, because this lovely little gem is a tent's only campground. Whether you're a local or just passing through I definitely recommend reserving a site for a night or two.

  Private camp ground, great place for scout troops to practice their skills. A hand full of outhouses available and there are a few spigots for well water - bring a filter just to be safe. I believe it is also available to families and private citizens who are interested in some weekend camping.
