  Ms. Gaines was wonderfully helpful to me. I was having an issue proving my residency, and she was very patient while helping me sort out the right evidence needed.
  The information line took 5 minutes to wait in, and then i was given a number. I sat in my chair waiting for almost 5 minutes before my number was called (there were 5+ people working), and my interactions with Ms.Gaines took about 15 minutes (including new photo and id being made). That's the fastest and kindest service that I've EVER received at a DMV before! It did get busier closer to noon with a longer line, but I was there around 1030 or so with relatively no lines.

  I went to this dmv last week and it was the best experience I have ever had. The dmv in my local area is packed to the bone with people and the staff are never friendly this dmv was the complete opposite they were fast and the staff were very friendly it was well worth an hour of driving to come here may do it again if I need to go back. I'd give them a 10 star if I could place went above and beyond to actually find the right information thanks again tappahannock dmv!!!

  I can not say enough about this DMV. I drive over an hour to come to this location and it is worth every minute. I have been there twice in the past month and Kristi helped me both times. She was incredibly helpful and patient.

  My wife and I just moved here from Illinois and went to get our 2 vehicles registered and get Virginia driver's licenses. From the moment we walked in the door we were treated with the utmost respect and courtesy. We got the whole transaction done within an hour too! We will do all our car business through this office. Well done to all...and thanks!
