(December 22, 2018, 6:18 pm)Cannot share how happy I was with this service. Mike P. was sent out after a previous plumber, the previous day, told us we had a collapsed sewer line and would cost thousands...Mike came out, ran his camera and found no such thing. The final issue was some oil build up and tissue clogs. He charged nothing, told us what to do to clean it out and fix it and helped us arrange some water jetting. Long story short, he was truthful and accurate, even if it meant a lower commission/sale for him. It is GREATLY appreciated, and more importantly, I trust him.
EDIT (21 Dec 2018): After Mike P., the following day Josh (#3970) came out to do the hydro-jetting. He was exceptionally professional, courteous, and was happy to explain every step of the process to me. He showed me the jetting, the post-jetting video, and pointed out and potential problems. Also gave me great advice on maintaining my pipes (it's an old house) in the future. We're relatively new to the area and I know very little about plumbing, Mike and Josh were knowledgable, explained everything to me, and saved me expenses wherever they could. As I highlighted above, both of these men earned my trust by putting my interests above their own. I'm definitely a roto-rooter customer now. -

(December 19, 2018, 4:26 pm)RotoRooter replaced my kitchen faucet and soap dispenser. My service technician was Daniel Amankwaa (#5764). Daniel was very courteous and respectful of my house. He wore booties to walk through my house. He removed my old faucet and installed the new one. He even transferred the soap from the old dispenser to the new one. He cleaned up any mess that he made and took away all of the old parts and pieces, leaving no trash behind. He had me use the new faucet to make sure it was installed to my satisfaction. I had him change the elevation of the soap dispenser, which he did very quickly. Then he was on his way. The only issue I had was my appointment was between noon and 4 pm and the technician did not arrive until 6 pm. I was called three times to let me know the status of the technician, so I knew that he was not arriving within the window. Luckily I did not have any plans and was able to stay home and wait for him.

(December 12, 2018, 5:35 am)I had a very good experience with Roto-Rooter. The technician that came to our home, Jamaal McAfee, was excellent. I had investigated our issue before he came and had some ideas on where the problems lay. He listened attentively and came up to speed very quickly. More important, he was able to bring his own expertise to the discussion and brought ideas I had not thought of. He worked diligently and effectively and was able to rectify a rather long-standing issue. There was no sense of taking short-cuts; he stayed late to ensure the job was done completely. Jamaal is a credit to your organization.

(September 3, 2018, 6:52 pm)An ideal experience. I wish I could remember the name of the technician who came to our house today. He was excellent--very personable, easy going, thoroughly competent. He very cheerfully went about fixing the problem, even whistling and singing to himself most of the time. And any time I had a question he was happy to answer it in a way that was easy to understand. He also wasn't condescending when he explained things. (I have experienced this with other professionals--mechanics, etc--but not with our guy today.)
In every way--his tone, his approach, his presence in our home--the experience was exactly right. And he didn't waste time either. He got straight to work, did things quickly and did them well.
Excellent!
