Baldino's Lock & Key, Chantilly

I finally had to call Baldinos after 5 hours of trying to switch out and lock on a new condo. They were excellent - from their back office team to the technician they sent out on site . They asked me to text them pictures of the current lock and key as well as the door and the door frame. They then sent out a technician who knew exactly what kind of door we had apparently old metal doors on these condos in Reston require a specific kind of cover plate. He had all the materials he needed as well as the proper equipment. It took him less than an hour. He was polite, thoughtful and a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend using them.

I went to Baldino's in their Chantilly location. From the minute I walked in, I knew they would help me with what I needed. I came in to get a couple of keys cut for my 2006 Toyota Camry. I brought my own blank chip keys and both Henry and Ray got to work. They checked their master shop books for anything unique for my particular issue and they identified immediately that the programming for this car might be easier than most. They were absolutely right! They cut the keys for $18.00. Even after cutting them, they asked if I wanted to go and try them without taking my money. This is something only an honest business does. I went outside and followed my programming instructions, and everything worked like I wanted to. I left the shop a tip after the service and told them I would be writing this review. I was quoted a price of $960.00 just this morning for the same things that I paid $18.00 for. If it is anything lock and key, either these guys will do it right the first time with a smile on their face and thank you for your business or it's something that might not be possible to do in the first place. I am a customer for life and I might consider using them even if I moved a little far away. I made an appointment with Baldino's when our storm door from garage to kitchen stopped working, locked in place. Securing a non emergency appointment was easy. The technician was efficient in making the door useful again but a new handle and lock had to be ordered. Working with the office staff was easy, and they communicated when the parts arrived and rescheduled the same technician to install the parts. All went smoothly and the technician worked with me to ensured\ that all was working properly before he left. This was a good experience.

We used Baldino’s to change all the locks when we bought our first house, and didn’t think twice when we needed to have the locks changed on our second house. It was the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and they arrived at 1015, the window was 10-12. The locks were changed quickly and efficiently, as well as the extra sets of keys.

The tech who came out was very pleasant to deal with.

I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
