Absolutely beautiful and relaxing place to be. I love that there are two sides to this park—one family-friendly side for pic nics and sight-seeing. The other side for hiking. One of my favorite places to be. My now husband actually proposed to me at this park during a hike. It was a surprising and beautiful moment in such a beautiful place.
Great Falls Park is one of the most stunning scenic locations in the DC/MD/VA region. It is the perfect place to go exploring, take photos, or simply enjoy the breathtaking views. As a photographer, I cannot think of a more stunning backdrop for portraits than the incredible waterfalls and surrounding scenery. Photos by Lexy Nicole Photography.
Absolutely love this place! I believe it cost $10 to get in the park. Well worth it though. They have 3 different spots to see the waterfalls that are super easy to get to. One is even wheelchair friendly! I hope the people who were out there on the water get the chance to see these pictures! I was fun watching them.
