Great hiking trails, maps to show you the way. Very scenic and beautiful water features. Didn't have enough time to walk through it all but will definitely come back again.
This was a great day off date hike with my wife. The trail was easy, the falls colors were beautiful, and the waterfall was really flowing. I highly recommend Scotts Run Nature Preserve.
Nice trail along a creek with paddling spots and a beautiful waterfall near where the creek joins the Potomac river. Fun for kids and dogs. About a mile and a half walk from parking to the waterfall. Steep short incline may be hard for some.
Love it here. Love that it's conveniently located right off the freeway. A nice piece of heaven in the middle of the cities chaos. There are several trails that are easy to navigate with a range of different terrain. The waterfall and swimming hole are beautiful. A great place to have lunch or read a book, I'll definitely be back.
Beautiful and quiet park and easy to hike. Some of its trails located the riverside are sand. You can feel sandy cushion while walking the trails. I enjoyed it much. You can be reached Potomac River, and a small but pretty falls. It is another joy of this park.
