Prior to the surgery, I am grateful for patiently addressing all my concerns and answering all my questions to ensure that I understood the process.   This team did wonders for me, my body and overall health. September 2019 I had surgery I have been able to keep off 160 pounds! I run and workout everyday and I wouldn’t haven been able to do it without this weight loss surgery. I was consistently sick and had a bunch of ailments that have since went away. I am thankful for this team and their in depth processes. Without them I don’t know what would have happened. YES you have to follow a weight loss plans, yes you are ultimately in control of what you put in your body but the team gives you nutritional advice on and guidance every step of the way. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for giving life a new meaning and for giving my son his mom back!

  I had my life-changing weight-loss surgery in October 2017. I live in Frederick, but decided to travel to Inova Fair Oaks because of their fabulous reputation, I am so happy I did. It was the best decision of my life. I am down 130 lbs and have maintained for almost 4 years. All of the staff is fantastic and I would, and have recommend them to everyone.

  I had the sleeve surgery in 2018. I lost 100 lbs and had a terrific experience with this practice. The doctors are amazing and the staff is knowledgeable about every step of the process. They offer lifetime follow up support which is also amazing! The nurse practitioner, Kim, is wonderful. The hospital experience was fabulous and although I became sick due to a reaction from the anesthesia or pain meds, the staff was so caring and supportive. This practice is fantastic and should be considered if you are thinking about having bariatric surgery!
