(March 13, 2018, 12:32 pm)Fred Crabtree Park is a really nice facility. There are two baseball fields and a practice cage. They have a regional little league playoff tournament here and regular season games for Reston Little League. Both fields have an announcers booth with a PA system and electronic score boards. There is also a concession stand and restrooms. The only drawback, it has very limited parking.
(January 28, 2018, 8:38 am)A hidden gem. The parking lot is next to a school, and provides direct trailhead access. There is a nice network of wooded dirt trails totaling a few miles. Some trees are blazed with trail makers, but not all of the trails are well blazed. They are still easy to find and follow. Some of the trails are loops, but there are also spurs off of the loops. Some creek crossings have bridges, others are natural. A great place for a dog walk!
