I’m still relatively new to the Fairfax/Vienna area, so I have been looking for a good Indian place in the area and this place did not disappoint. I got the butter chicken and the garlic naan and it was delicious! I did a pickup/mobile order and the food was hot and fresh and the flavors were amazing. I recommend this place if your looking for a good Indian place!!
Authentic Kerala food. Love their fish curry and fish fry in banana leaf. I would recommend it.
Wow... Really impressive flavors. Will write more on second visit.
My entire family can’t get enough of this place. While my Mom and Dad love going there for tea and fried snacks/sweets (it’s a brown thing to want those things at random parts of the day), we all greatly enjoy going for dinner to experience dishes like the lamb biryani. The environment is unpretentious and conducive to comfortable South Indian dining. Staff and management are phenomenal, last night the manager comped us 2 cups of tea and 2 servings of gulab jamun (Indian fried batter doused in sugar syrup) purely out of the kindness of his heart. Everyone we go, we are astounded by how enjoyable our time is there. Even the simple things like naan and yellow/tadka daal they do impeccably. Aditi is definitely worth 30 minute trek we make from Foggy Bottom. Prices are very reasonable and makes you question why you do Indian “fine-dining”. All in all, the combination of delicious food and amazing service/cordiality of the staff is what makes this establishment solid. Keep up the good work guys!
I went here for a quick filling lunch, and that's what I got. My first impressions entering the restaurant were good. The interior was much nicer than I was expecting it to be, and the gentleman at the register was kind. I ordered the chicken biryani, and I asked for it to be spicy. We waited about 10 minutes or less for our food. The food was pretty good, but it was not spicy at all. It actually lacked a little flavor to me. The food was not bad though. I would go back to try different menu items when I'm in that area. Overall, I'm pretty pleased with my experience even though my food could've been much spicer.
