I needed a few alterations done on my wedding dress and a friend recommended I go to The Tailor Shop. She did such an amazing job! And it was so quick too! The prices were on par with other quotes I had received, which was more than reasonable. Got a four layer wedding dress with complex 3d lace hemmed, bustle added, and sleeves adjusted to fit for $350! All in a week's time. Worth. Every. Penny. I would recommend coming here for any wedding dress alterations or other tailoring needs.

Went to get my pants hemmed and it was a quick and easy process. Also the changes were done quickly and in time for my friend's wedding.

Kelly is undoubtedly the best tailor I have ever worked with. Her talent and attention to detail continually impresses me, even after 11 years of bringing my clothes to her. Most recently, I brought her my wedding dress which had been ruined by poor alterations done by a luxury wedding dress store in D.C. Not only did she drastically improve the fit, she also managed to fix the botched alterations. Most impressively, she did all of this in one day. My wedding was out of town and in two days, yet she worked her magic to pull off a miracle.

Kelly cares about her work and takes pride in it, all while providing outstanding customer service. There is no one else who could have helped me like she did for my wedding dress and I am so grateful for her excellent service.

Prior to finding this shop, I tried a variety of alterations stores and was always disappointed. Kelly has never disappointed me and has my complete trust.

I had my wedding dress tailored, and couldn’t have hoped for a more wonderful experience!! I had assumed it might take weeks and weeks to tailor but with what I needed it was complete in 2 weeks! It is the absolute perfect length, and she was able to add a bustle for dancing. I’m so happy and excited that I chose the Tailor Shop and will come here for anything else I need in the future. I couldn’t be more happy with my experience at The Tailor Shop. I was super stressed because I realized 3 months before my wedding that my original dress didn’t (and wouldn’t) fit. I had to get a new dress and everyone *else* I spoke with was kind of condescending or was trying to charge me unaffordable rush fees... but, I was treated with such compassion here! The owner insisted to me that it would be taken care of in plenty of time, and he flawlessly delivered on that promise. Obviously very experienced and just so overwhelming kind. Couldn’t recommend more!! I tell everyone looking for a tailor to go here. Oh also he did my husband’s suit and I think it looks great.
