  I have noticed that there’s only 5 star & 1 star reviews on Google, there’s nothing in the middle. When I visited the restaurant, I asked the manager curiously. I was told that there’s some people posted fake 1 star reviews in order to damage their reputation, they were not real customer. I was shocked that 13 bad reviews were posted in one day written by broken English. It’s such a shame it happened again in Chinese community. People compete in a low class way, instead of working on their dishes and service. My dining experience in Chef Guo was fabulous! This is the Finest Chinese Cuisine in DC area, maybe United States! Each dish has a cultural name and its own story. The decoration was traditional but trendy. This is real Chinese cuisine! I hope ChefGuo can open more location soon!

  No question that this was a five star experience! Impeccable service and delicious food! Chef Guo ranks in my top three Chinese restaurant that I've dined in my life! I highly recommend it to everyone!

  Had a business lunch with my lawyer colleague at Chef Guo. Both of us are impressed with the venue, the setting, aroma, and taste of the food. The staff is very friendly. We had a great time and will come back again. Great Job Chef Guo.

  We celebrated our son's birthday here. This is a classy upscale chinese restaurant. The staff are proficient and nice. The dishes are beautify and delicious. You will not be disappointed!

  I usually don’t give reviews but for Chef Guo, I feel like I have to give a review because I don’t know why some people intentionally gave him bad reviews and he doesn’t deserve these bad reviews.
  
  First of all, if you are looking for some American Chinese food, this is not the place. The food is 100% authentic, even though not in a traditional and most acceptable way. I have to say the food looks like an art and the taste is amazing. Chef Guo told me he is the founder of the Chinese Healthy Cuisine School, focusing on creating healthy and innovative Chinese food.
  
  If you are a healthy eater and want to try some modern Chinese food, definitely recommend this place!
