  A group of us from work decided to have our Holliday lunch at the Inn. We got a great table by the Christmas tree. The food was wonderful. We enjoyed the company. Our service was excellent. We'll go there again.

  Came for a company holiday party. Food was good. Dessert just okay. Ambience was really nice, Christmas decorations were beautiful

  Visiting Mount Vernon is a special experience. This is one of the few national treasures that I’ve visited in the Washington, DC area that is not part of the National Park Service. As much as I love the monuments and museums of DC, this location does a great job as an independent historical society.
  
  The restaurant itself is an added bonus. Some of the dishes are in the spirit of what Washington himself might have enjoyed during his time. Regardless of the authenticity of the dishes, they are delicious. The peanut soup is unique and very tasty. The service had been good both times I’ve visited and the menu had plenty of modern healthy options to satisfy anyone in your group. It’s an experience that adds to your visit of Mount Vernon.

  By far the BEST Fillet Mignon I have ever had. Broiled to-perfection!!! The green beans were blanched and crisp. Given the quality of the food; the nice proportions and super service I would highly recommend. We can’t wait to return.
