  This is a campground, but you can also fish along the pier, Va. state license required, or explore the nature trails. A nice quiet place to relax or unwind. Runners use the surrounding area to train.

  Great place for tenting, good laundry and shower facility, but a bit steep on cost...$20 a night...for a tent.

  Absolutely one of the best maintained rv parks we have visited. Sites are of good size, level and new picnic tables. Sites have complete concrete pads with plenty of room for your unit and two vehicle. The only negative comment that I have is the directions to the registration office or the park itself. There needs to be better signage and better directions from the staff at the visitors center. They had to ask several others before anyone knew they had a printed direction from. It was helpful but could have been better. Love the park!!!!!

  Very clean and peaceful. We met many really nice families. Dog friendly. Saw some wildlife, baby fox, badger and young deer.

  Wow, first time I paid $50 for a military travel camp but it was worth every penny! So beautiful and peaceful. Right on a bay of the Potomac river. Easy to get to and to Washington DC. Only suggestions i have for this camp is to accept mail and add a hot tub.
