(October 16, 2018, 10:12 am)Great park by the water. Not stroller friendly but definitely bring your baby carrier. They have different hiking and bike trails. They also have a guide to show you what's around. We missed the beaver tour. There are restrooms and picnic area. $5/car to get in for VA residents.

(September 9, 2018, 1:19 am)This is a great place to take the dogs. Went on a nice long hike, beautiful words, just enough people to know we were in the real world, but we are mostly alone and secluded.
I gave it four stars because of the bugs. Bring some insect spray and you’ll likely have a five-star experience -

(August 22, 2018, 10:10 pm)This place is beautiful. There’s a bunch of trails ideal for running and off road cycling. Not many climbs, so I wouldn’t say it’s all too challenging but it’s scenic. There are places to kayak and nearly 30 mi of kayaking to do. I haven’t encountered many places as beautiful and worthy of exploration in the immediate area. It’s definitely worth checking out.
