(December 6, 2018, 1:57 am)Great campground with full hookups. We used this spot as a launching point for our DC tour. Short ride to nearest metro station into the city. In the summer they have disk golf and some water features. You feel like you are really camping here. Lots of nature and woods. Will stay again.

(November 15, 2018, 5:37 am)It was wonderful! The site was very primitive for my standards but I’m on the edge of camping versus glamping. The bath house was as to be expected and the entire campground was peaceful. We even had 3 teenager raccoons visit us after eating our dinner! They are very domesticated so beware. I’m looking forward to going back!

(October 20, 2018, 9:17 am)Great park, wonderful staff. Spots are a little close together, but fairly well maintained. The fire rings don't have a grill on them but there are charcoal grills at the site. The picnic tables need some tlc but other than that, great place for the family.

(October 6, 2018, 9:07 am)This is our first review of a campground since trailer camping is new to us. Our site for our travel trailer was somewhat private, there was a good amount of space and trees between the sites. It was quiet, staff was friendly and helpful. The restrooms were clean. Years ago when we would tent camp, the water was always hard well water but this place used a water softener which my hair loved. ????
The camp store was open until 8pm. They had a family friendly movie going on Friday night and a scavenger hunt for the kids on Saturday. Very close to DC. We drove to the metro station everyday to visit DC. I absolutely would stay her again
