“Visited for the Just Between Friends kids sale. The community center staff is professional and organized. With the machine down and an influx of people, they did a great job getting people to the event on time. I went last year as well and the outside of the building was graffitied with hate language, and the center staff was still welcoming, open, and professional. The pool looks great, well-kept. The bathrooms had touches I appreciate like a working automatic soap dispenser near the changing table. Really great place!”

“My mother has lived at Sunrise of McLean for about 3 years. Her level of care has changed somewhat, but the transition has been smooth. The caregivers know her, and are generally very sensible in the care they provide. I recently brought my mother back from the Fairfax Hospital ER. I was very comfortable turning her over to the med tech in charge for the night. I knew he was competent and responsible, and caring. I also feel the activities are enjoyable and helpful, even though different residents on different days might be variably cooperative. But aren’t we all different on different days? I would give more than 4 stars. Though I never give five stars to anything. I always feel some room should be left before perfection.”

The rooms for the seniors are not too small, but comfortable with the aneurysm of a small apartment of likewise accommodations. This location was quiet and file with a caring staff on premise. Ideally, when a family decides they want to place a senior loved one into an assisted living facility they are looking for a location like the Sunrise at Hunter Mill located in Oakton, VA.”
