They helped get me set up, and walked me through the VDACS paperwork to a degree that my entire operation was approved with just one edit, and only one inspection! Literally the only complaint I have is that some of the outlets in the kitchen don't work, but there are many, and most of them do. But the point is, if this is the only problem I have with a kitchen like this, you can imagine how well everything else goes with the service. Being allowed in and out on my schedule is a great advantage to the odd hours I work, and having an inspected kitchen to do my work in any time has been exactly what my spice business has needed to get off the ground!”

Staff was patient and nice while we made selections (chicken sandwich, yucca, 1/4 chicken (dark meat), rice and beans and fries). Food was brought to our table and was so good and satisfying, especially with the various sauces. The rice and beans were a bit bland but not enough to deduct a star. I also want to call out that my date left his cellphone behind. It took us a few hours to realize he didn't have it. Guapo staff had it and answered when we called it trying to find it. They held the phone for us until we were able to get back there. It was a small thing that was really a huge thing. We're very grateful! Between the great food and the kind staff, we'll definitely be back!”

“Center for discovery is a great place to seek help. The therapists there are very caring and are always encouraging, helpful, understanding, and nonjudgmental. There is a phase system that works as a great trade off of give and take in their recovery system. Based off of your participation in groups, your meal completion percentage, completion of therapy assessments, and other things, the client will get more privileges like calling a friend or being able to hang out in the living room. The dietitian is incredibly helpful with helping the client overcome their fear of foods and helps them understand that eating is good and something to be enjoyed. The groups are lead by staff members but clients can lead them once they reach a certain phase. The groups are very helpful and offer a lot of insight into things like how the eating disorder manifested or who we try to impress with the eating disorder. It really allows for a lot of self reflection and learning. I never felt like the staff, dietitian, or therapists were ever thinking of anything besides my best interest. There is also a very good dynamic with the other clients there that makes you feel form a bond with those you share this experience with. This is all coming from a former client and I can tell you this place is great.”
