Terry and Kevin really took care of him, so when my Triumph Bonneville continued to have a tough time starting (was unreliable at first, and then would only start running if Bump started), I brought it by Fairfax Cycles. After getting all the parts, they worked on it pretty much right away and it was ready for pick-up within days. It runs great, starts up every time, and I really appreciate the low-key, down to earth vibe of the shop. I can tell they just have so much knowledge and experience across all sorts of makes and models - it's really impressive. However, as I went to college and had no trouble keeping good grades and my classmate from other hometowns struggled, it made me consider how lucky I was to have had the kind of education Remington schools provided to me. My wife isn't a simple minded person, but she struggled in college. Wichita schools had not prepared her for post high school life and educations. To this day, I consider the majority of my teachers as friends and will have contact with them every so often. They not only remember me, but have interest in where my life has gone after leaving their care. My wife doesn't remember many of her teachers and none of the teachers in Wichita schools cared to remember her. Food for thought! “The finest building, office complex with the greatest amenities. I keep going there to work on their wiring, but I get to enjoy the perks as well. The office workers there have access to the best cafeteria, serving healthy choices breakfast and lunch with much variety (hot foods, salad bars, grill, stone oven pizza, Asian stir fry, sushi, and components like nuts, fruit, bread etc). There is also a free gym so the office workers stay healthy and lean. If I worked anywhere other than my wiring install job - I certainly would want to work here. Also there is a full Starbucks and tons of free treats for workers during times of holidays.”

“If there's one phrase that describes Jothi's healing methods and service, I would say "above and beyond". Jothi helped me work through some childhood trauma in two ways. One, using reiki healing methods to get the energy flowing through the body. She did this from a distance. I felt an interesting calm and peace afterwards. My mind was boggled. How can this person, who is somewhere 50 miles away, have an effect on my body's energy? I continued on and Jothi also recommended some EFT tapping methods, which were part of my own "homework" and which helped to speed up my healing process. The truth is, as people become adults and behaviors solidify, it's hard to reach back into the proverbial basement and clean up the cobwebs. But I kept wondering: "I'm trying so hard at [life goal], why is it every time I see victory on the horizon, [life goal] slips just out of my grasp?" and if the [life goal 1] is different from [life goal 2] why do the same patterns of behavior around life goals emerge that impede me from reaching higher? Jothi used more of her own time personally counseling and coaching me, and I treasured that time as well, because she took an objective, yet softening approach. I felt super comfortable telling her about several demons I had been battling. I feel like we were both swinging swords together to defeat a common foe. I would definitely use her services in the future, as life is an ongoing process.”

“The four years I spent studying at the Eichhorn clarinet studio were some of the most rewarding and inspiring times in my journey with the clarinet so far. It is rare to find a teacher so dedicated, who is equipped to create a cohesive, well-defined path for improving musically and technically, and at the same time pass along love and passion of the craft to her students. When I began my clarinet studies with Claire Eichhorn, I was an enthusiastic student, but lacked any formal training. After setting some initial goals, we immediately began working on building a strong set of fundamental skills on the clarinet, which would later prove invaluable. As the difficulty of my exercises and repertoire grew, I found that my assignments were challenging enough to keep me engaged and pushing myself, and my objectives were always crystal clear. This helped me substantially in the process of learning how to practice, which is one of the most important skills you can learn in your journey with music. During my lessons, I was always greeted with patience, enthusiasm, professionalism, and respect. It was one of my favorite times of the week, and I fondly remember being excited to share my music and to be back in the studio. I actually still use many of the practice techniques and routines to this day, as a professional musician. After my time with Claire Eichhorn, I went on to Oberlin Conservatory and the Cleveland Institute of Music for Bachelor's and Master's degrees in clarinet performance. Throughout my time there, I always drew back to the basics that I had learned with Ms. Eichhorn, and was well served by having not only a strong base, but also a wide variety of music, etudes, and method books already under my belt. Whatever your goals in music may be, and whether you are a total beginner or have had training, studying the clarinet here is a wonderful, worthwhile, and lasting musical experience. I highly recommend studying with Claire Eichhorn at the Eichhorn Clarinet Studio!!”
