(February 4, 2019, 5:17 pm)Great place for a meal and a pint. The bangers and mash, the Guinness stew, the shepherds pie are all great. 4 separate sitting areas, one of which permits cigar smoking. A great throwback to when the state didn't force businesses to discriminate. Definitely check them out!

(February 1, 2019, 4:54 pm)We went Thursday night for open mic night...had a fabulous time. McMahon's was very much like the pubs I went to in Dublin...lively atmosphere. The staff were excellent and the locals made us feel welcome.

(November 5, 2018, 8:43 pm)I must have sat where fred, previous reviewer sat. I smelled smoke upon entering and by the fireplace. My companion thought it was from the fireplace but I know the difference between burning tobacco and burning wood. I too, walked in with only 2 cars in the driveway, but as the dinner progressed, extremely large groups arrived and we were largely ignored. The steak. Delicious, delicious, delicious. Too bad the remainder of the meal did not follow suit. The bacon cheese tots were also delicious. Cozy seating by the fireplace helped to contribute to the atmosphere. I'd go again, but would stay away from the fireplace.

(October 27, 2018, 9:03 am)Great atmosphere and delicious food. Erica and her staff are the best! They made our party feel welcomed and they catered to our every need. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. If I could rate more than 5 stars, I would!
