Very pretty walk, it's just a shame that on parts of the walk you can see and hear cars on 37 zipping by. Regardless of the highway, it's 100% worth going on a walk here at least once
If you only have only a half an hour or so to spare for a walk, Rose Hill is the place to go. Varying terrain and views make this an interesting walk. Since its a former civil war battlefield, twilight is always interesting as it may be haunted!....
Nice park with a playground and a short 1 mile, gravel loop trail. Kid and dog friendly, there are even some benches along the trail, provided by a local Scout as part of his Eagle project.
Nice clean park with wonderful walking/ running trails. Has a nice playground and meeting area. Rich in history. And for those like me who are interested in geocaching.... there are a bunch of good ones hidden here. :)
Very nice little park! Don't know how we didn't know about this little gem all the years we've lived here. A fun little "rock" playground my daughter loved, and a very nice trail around the park with kiosks informing you about the civil war battle on the premises.
