  There’s only one person who works the front desk, so if you get there and they’re busy, you’re going to wait. That said, the check in process itself is pretty quick, and it’s a really easy to access location from I-95. Competitive rates and decent rental stock.

  I take all my trucks to this location for service and I have to say this is the best location by far. I always get them back in a very reasonable time frame. This is the only location I will use. Thank you for being AWSOME.

  Moving is a big deal and it's important that everything goes as planned. That "other truck rental company" actually gave me lower quotes online. But any Joe Blow and his brother can rent those trucks to you. I didn't want to go to a convenience store or gas station that just happens to do truck rental as a side business. So I was very excited when I discovered this new Penske rental business in Ashland. It's right across the road from the Walmart. It's a big operation and they are all about trucks! It's exactly the kind of place I wanted to do business with.
  
  I setup my reservation online about a month in advance. (I think Penske only requires two days notice though.) Penske called two days prior to confirm the reservation. When I arrived, the young woman at the counter was very pleasant, efficient, and professional. They had the truck and furniture pads I requested all ready and waiting to go. I rented the 26 footer. It was a 2017 model with a little over 100,000 miles on it. It looked brand new. I had no problems driving this truck up through West Virginia for this move. As expected, it was slow going at times on some of those mountain roads but it was nothing out the ordinary for a truck of this size. Overall, I was very pleased with the trucks performance.
  
  We had some last minute route changes due to road closures caused by flooding and rock slides in the mountains. So I was very happy to have unlimited mileage. I didn't have to worry about incurring additional costs due to the longer route. I returned the truck at the drop off point a day early, with no damage, and a full tank of gas. The folks at the drop off location were very courteous and didn't hit us with any surprise hidden charges.
  
  This was the first time I've ever rented a Penske truck. Overall, my experience with Penske was excellent. I would definitely recommend Penske and this Ashland location to anyone.
