Chris has been a Godsend. I bought an older boat and it had alot of problems that I did not know about. Because of Chris and Dockside Marine it is now ready to go in the water. He really cared about me from the beginning. Dockside is lucky they have him. If he ever leaves I'll take my business with him.
Chris was amazing!!!! From his helpfulness on the phone, to his knowledge of parts. Was even able to figure out exactly what I was describing i needed without exact serial numbers and this like that. I would love to never need to get parts or work done on my boat again, but when I do I will be calling Chris and going to Dockside Marine!!!!
I have never posted a google review before. This will be my first and likely my last. I have owned boats for over 30 years. Over the last decade plus, I have taken a variety of boats and related motors to Dockside Marine for inspection, service and repair. The team there does excellent work. They are highly trained, reliable, honest and fair. Chris, in particular, has invested considerable time with me when I have faced motor issues. He thoroughly explains the details of any diagnosis, his recommendations, his estimates and any perceived risks of possible alternatives. Moreover, he has educated me on a variety of known strengths and challenges with particular motor brands/models that I have owned or considered purchasing over the years. He has gone as far as suggesting specific & generally uncommon preventative actions (that I can do myself) that I should consider taking to extend the life of my motors. I have learned over the years that this level of honesty and commitment to client service is rather unique in the marine industry. I am a very satisfied customer and will take my motors no where else. I recommend, from experience, that you do the same.
