  My experience selling a buckle was top notch. Mr. Pritchard is more than professional. He will give you an honest price and is a great person loaded with history and was a pleasure to work with.

  I have known Shannon for several years and have found him to be both honest and knowledgeable when describing and selling the items he loves.....I have purchased a number of things from him in the past...swords....belt buckles...etc....etc.
  which are now the highlights of my collection and sleep well at night knowing they came from Old South Military Antiques. Those of us who collect items from the Confederacy are fortunate to have someone like Shannon who has both knowledge and is ethical in all his dealings. I have always felt comfortable purchasing any item from this fine individual......I wish we had more like him in this wonderful hobby.........

  I'm a high end knife collector. I only want the best (condition and rarity). I bought my first knife from Shannon in 2003. Since then, I've bought more than 15 knives from him--every one a screamer. He's not the cheapest guy around. There are plenty of other dealers to fit that niche. I don't want put togethers, monkeyed with, over cleaned, nonsense. I want straight forward legit items that speak for themselves and need no excuses. Shannon always fits the bill.
  It works both ways with him as well. I've sold him many items over the years---things I came across and didn't collect like swords, flags, guns. He pays fairly, promptly, in full. No payments. No stalling. No layaway deals or waiting for him to make another deal for me to get paid. I've also had him sell on consignment and again, fair dealing and prompt payments.
  Also, when friends have an item to sell, and ask me who to go to get the best price, without hesitation I send them to Shannon.

  Old South Military Antiques is the only reason I am still active in the hobby today. In my very first communication with Shannon Pritchard which has now been over 15 years ago, it was apparent the passion he had for recognizing and preserving our Southern history. He chooses to do so by offering those of us that share this passion, the opportunity to own and cherish some of the finest treasures from that time. For that alone, I am most grateful.
  Shannon’s passion, professionalism and customer centric style makes for an outstanding experience when doing the business part of any transaction.
