(June 24, 2019, 11:30 pm)Besides having to hear the traffic and trains at night, it is a wonderful campground. The area is kept clean, including the bathrooms. They have a nice little playground, with a decent size pool. They accommodated us 3 times as we kept asking to switch sites, and they had no problem with it. They also allowed us to keep an extra car there, and keep our cars there even after we checked out and went over to the park for the day to avoid parking charges. The shuttle runs quite often as well, so for Kings Dominion, it's extremely handy! Overall, highly recommend.

(June 5, 2019, 7:51 pm)My family and I stayed here during our recent trip to Kings Dominion and we enjoyed staying in the cabins here. They are nice! Our cabin had the following...loft with 2 beds and 2 TVs, 2 bathrooms with bathtub/shower, another bedroom with tv, a small kitchen and a small living room. They are clean, there is parking, and the staff is friendly. Now the loft area has a very low ceiling...meant for kids. Yet, the kids must be careful not to stand up quick unless maybe they are a toddler. I slept in it with my girls and we handled it! Our only issue(s) included: one of the bathroom doors wouldn’t close...it was off track, but we managed. Now the door to the cabin was another issue in itself! I am not sure who put the door to the cabin in, but they need a new job! The door didn’t close completely and there was such a gap between the door itself and the frame that we battled insects all night. Overall, I would still recommend! It may have just been the one cabin that had issues. I definitely would stay here again!

They have a complimentary shuttle to and from the park that runs from before opening to well after the park clothes. Some RV sites are a little tight on space but still easy to maneuver into. Nice camp store. Would stay again.

(May 18, 2019, 12:18 pm)Campground was very well laid out. Restrooms were very clean and up to date. Camp store has everything you need plus more (HAND DIPPED ICE CREAM)!! Staff was very welcoming and attentive. I would definitely book another stay.
