Texas Roadhouse

Typically, this restaurant is exceptional but they fell short last night.

My party of 3 dined here last night and had a decent experience overall as the food was great as usual; however, we did not experience the superb service that we are used to at this location. We waited over and hour to be seated, which while understandable for a Friday night, seemed excessive based on the amount of people we watched go into and come out of the restaurant as we waited in our car in the parking lot. We did the call ahead seating around 7:00 pm, received the wait estimate of 45 to 55 minutes, and did not receive a message that our table was ready until about 8:20 pm. Our server appeared to be stressed and struggled to check on us throughout our dining time. He did fantastic with getting us our drinks but it took a long while to get our appetizer and entrees and even longer to pay our check (usually, we barely have time to finish our appetizer before our entrees come out). We waited for probably 20 minutes between him dropping off the check and coming back to pick up the payment, which was via credit card so we had to wait for him. It was about 9:45 when we were finally able to leave. Typically, we can be in and out in less than an hour of being at this location, even with ordering 1 to 2 appetizers and 2 to 3 entrees. We also are used to this location adhering to social distancing; however, a couple was seated in the booth directly behind ours that had an X taped on the table. While our food was delicious as usual, we were rather disappointed with the service we received because of the wait times and the lack of appropriate social distancing.

Our dinner was good. My steak was amazing. I ordered the New York Strip. Medium. It was so good. I could taste the grill on it, which I love. My chili cheese fries side, not so much. They looked like it sat a while, waiting for my steak. First time for this has happened. Super busy place. We love it!

Dixie was a great waitress. She help make our experience A-1. plus the food was dope. Cooked to perfection. Great fellowship & good time interacting with everyone. Thanks for a great experience!

Food was beyond wat I expected.

Texas Roadhouse has always been considered a great place to get a great meal at a GREAT price. And despite the present health crisis we find ourselves in, Texas Road House is still delivering. They have changed their seating procedures and other processes to accommodate their guests, while adhering to state guidance put in place to protect the health of their patrons and their staff. AND as usual, food was delicious!!
