I seen this bright and energetic young women visiting Riverside Rehabilitation Center in Hampton. The only thing I can tell you is when you meet eyes with her- her smile is contagious and she is delightful. I had a horrible morning with my husband who is going through therapy due to a recent stroke. His attitude was nasty which is not normal but more often than not seems to be the new normal. I felt defeated and stressed and I began to make small conversations with who I eventually found out was Lauren which is also my grand daughters name! I began to tell her my stresses of dealing with my husband and than I apologized as I felt she didn't deserve to hear my negativity and through it all she said it's pleasure and my job to provide a listening ear. She also told me she was the Branch Manager for Bright Star Healthcare and if we needed assistance when we got home her team would love to service us and assist us until my husband regains full mobility. I am kind of long winded and she was very kind to listen to my worries and I believe she deserves some recognition. I walked away from my conversation with Lauren relieved and less stressed and with a new perspective and new found strength and patience for my husband. I feel her contagious smile and calm demeanor did this for me.
