(January 20, 2019, 8:33 pm)So far what we explored was good. I am not sure its worth the $5 parking fee yet because we have not completely explored all of the trails. The "alternative" kids playset is so-so, if you are letting your kids play on it, I would recommend adult supervision.

(November 8, 2018, 10:38 pm)Great place to take the kids. Long walking trails and a little "fun zone" going on for kids where they can sit at tiny log tables and play with items placed on them by staff.

(July 13, 2018, 11:53 am)Beautiful park with miles of great trails. Most wooded so great for hot summer days. Lovely vistas along the Virginia side of the Potomac. Nice visitor's center in historic building. Pay to park on honor system - with hang tag for windshield.
