They came from a different school where they had not experienced such an authentic curriculum at the hands of disoriented and unhappy staff. I have come to learn that happy teachers are JUST as important as authenticity. The Guides at Allder Montessori are trained in Montessori curriculum through Association Montessori Internationale (AMI). AMI trained Guides (teachers) ensures the authenticity the Montessori classroom and curriculum. Unfortunately, many Montessori schools have expunged the Catholic principles of the learning environment and language, effectively watering down the curriculum and detracting from its meaning. Allder also includes the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Program as well. It is truly an authentic Montessori program and the school maintains the Catholicity in their curriculum as was created by Maria Montessori. Students of all faith backgrounds are invited to attend.
