  I have 2 Yorkies that are my furbabies. I am always cautious about who I leave them with because one of my dogs is a very damaged rescue and I have had several set-backs with daycares and kennels. When we met Carrie, we felt at ease because of the way the dogs took to her and her nature with the dogs. Our dogs were treated like we would treat them. She followed their diet restrictions as well as their treat schedule. Our dogs stayed while we went on vacation... for 9 nights and 8 days. It was wintertime and actually snowed during their stay, our dogs stayed in their home and we got lots of details and photographs about their day and how they were behaving. I would highly recommend Howl of a Good Time to anyone looking for a kennel/daycare where your pet will be treated like one of the family. Service was professional, dog lot was spacious and CLEAN! She responded quickly to our text check-ups and usually with an accompaning photo to keep us at ease. We have left our dogs with another local daycare; howl of a good time far exceeded the professionalism and service of other local establishments and they actually get to go OUTSIDE here, the other local establishment was an indoor facility with no outside time. That just confused my dogs as to where the bathroom is.

  Howl of a Good Time was the definition of a facility that is ran by dog lovers! My dog Dakota (Black Labrador Puppy) went to this facility for 4-5 days while I was out of town and when I picked her up she was so excited to see me. I got her home and she crashed!!! I have never seen her so exhausted even when we have hiked, played at dog parks or went swimming at my parents pool! I wanted to write a review to hopefully drum up business for this facility because I have never felt so good about leaving a dog ever in my life but they assured me she would be fine and they even went out of their way to send pictures of her playing with all the other dogs! Thank you to Patrick and Howl of a Good Time and Dakota can't wait to return to you soon for more play time!

  Perfect setup! Plenty of space for the pups to run around and play. The owner does a good job of managing different dog personalities and keeps an eye on them at all times when they do play together. I came to pick up my dog and found him having a blast being around other dogs, and really that's all they need when being boarded away from their owner. Thanks howl of a good time!

  A home away from home for my big boy Leo! For complete peace of mind, safe, comfortable, super happy, worked out, socialized to the max kinda dog; you will be beyond pleased!!!! Patrick has a special way with the "big one's" that I admire and question constantly for tips, corrections and guidance---he knows what he is doing and yet cares for Leo with love...tough love which my dog needs! Couldn't be happier and I thank my lucky stars to have found such a gem of a place, not a kennel, a second home for my pup!
