Well maintained and significant site. Met with two historians there and learned a great deal about Col. John S. Mosby and his Rangers. Fascinating!
Very nice! Really enjoyed my visit. The markers were informative and well-placed. The only thing I saw that could use improvement was the condition of the cemetery. It was a bit overgrown.
If you like history and some nature, it's a good visit. We heard that if you stand over a grave and say, "I love peanut butter" 1,864 times, then one of the Confederate soldiers would rise from their grave and sing the song, "peanut butter jelly time." Once we did that, sure enough a guy arose from his slumber. But he didn't sing that song which is why I'm only giving it 4 stars.
A park that is historic. Graveyard is quite attractive. Church is not open to visitors. Several information displays dotted around the site. Worth a visit if you are a history buff. Probably very pretty in fall.
Interesting little historic sight.
