“My daughter was taken to the acute hospital under a TDO. At first I was upset because when she was being transported to the hospital I called the hispital and asked them to call me when she arrived just so I knew she got there okay (it was a 3.5 hour drive late at night) and also instructed them to give her meds to her as soon as she arrived. Neither happened. The next morning, the psychiatrist called just to let us know she was okay (after we had tried calling every number for them that we had and getting no answer). We went to visit her that afternoon and she was in horrible shape emotionally as she was tired and had not had her meds. I had a long talk with the nurse and psych tech. They listened and responded to all of my questions. We got the timing of the medication straightened out. The next day, after some rest, she was doing great. She like the food and most of the staff she said was nice to her. She didn't like the bed alarms or the other safety measures they had taken there but it all made sense to me why they had them (nothing crazy just things like solid door handles so you couldn't tie anything on them to hurt yourself, etc..). She did tell me of a couple of times certain aides were rude to her and we immediately told the administrator. Overall, for an acute unit, it is one of the better ones (unfortunately we've had experiences with a few). Not sure of the residential program however.”

We have had dogs for over 20 years are have experienced many, many vet visits. Out of all of them, Aldie Veterinary Hospital stands out as one of the best. We love that they offer 24 hour emergency visits. We have interacted with most of the staff and all of the vet tech/receptionist staff are fantastic. Dr. Barnes and Dr. Luce stand out as being especially professional and helpful. At each visit, the staff has been extremely thorough in consultations and answering questions. I'm very happy that we switched to Aldie Vet and I highly recommend them to anyone needing more from their vet.”
