  Absolutely fantastic school. There were other schools that were closer in distance, but did not seem to be what I was looking for. After trying a free week here, I knew this was were I wanted to go. Firstly, I am immensely impressed with the expertise here. The staff are highly skilled and fully committed to your learning. The curriculum is diverse and exposes the learner to different facets of combat (knife, gun defense, hand to hand, ground assault etc). The cost of membership was very affordable compared to some of the other local schools and the weekly schedule of classes is both flexible and gives students multiple windows to train and accommodate their schedule. Lastly- I will say— the team is highly dedicated to your success on personal level: The instructors really went the extra mile to create an atmosphere where all students are respected and encouraged, coming in as a beginner in my adult life felt intimidating at first, but the culture of the school is such that you are consistently given mutual support by the staff to set you up for success.

  Great instructors and Great environment! Greg is extremely knowledgeable and cares a great deal for his students. The training is intense and physically demanding and the owners are even on the mat training with the students. If you want a good workout with good people, stop into American Drengr!

  Highly recommend becoming a part of this incredibly valuable, warm and badass community. The best investment you can make to teach your children & yourself - lifesaving skills. More important than any other activity for your kids. Women’s Self Defense Clinics, Special Events and instructors that care.

  I started with the free week classes and immediately felt like I belonged. The instructors are great and the welcoming feeling I got was amazing. My family signed up and we have really enjoyed coming to the classes. The level of awareness and self confidence you gain by knowing how to defend yourself should the need arise it’s incredible.

  I absolutely love this school. Not only are they my students, they are my friends and my tribe. It's the students and the community they foster that gives a special spark that I haven't seen anywhere else. They are naturally encouraging and welcoming to new comers and strive to bring the very best out of each other both on and off the mat. This school was built on that community coming together to build something they couldn't find anywhere else. I'd suggest that this is exactly what people have been looking for in a school.
