  Great library! Took my kids (15 & 4) and they both enjoyed themselves! My son enjoys Manga and was pleased that they had some books. My daughter loved running around and grabbing books to read her baby.

  Libraries are wonderful places! They are not just a place to check out books anymore. Check out the City's library website to find out about all that is available to do!

  Thank you "Main Street Library" for being a part of Historical Hilton's American history and African American heritage...
  
  Really enjoyed browsing thru your Library's amazingly rich history of all Americans & Nationalities involvment in the Churches, Shipyard/Maritime industry, Armed Forces, Hospitals, educational & Judicial systems, leadership in the communities, as well as Athletes, Colleges and entertainers in this wonderful Community.
  Especially the slew of knowledge of African Americans, whom shared not only a huge part in history here in the Hilton Village area but also and currently is the backbone of History in the City of Newport News.
  
  Wonderful place to curl up to a good book & cool off on a smoldering hot summer's day.

  Because of the endless knowledge of books, where reading is fundamental & knowledge is Power!
  And the "Kids Corner" encouraging Lil youngings for "Reader's to Soar!"
  Also the "Grand" Historical library study room, and the private all glass enclosure study rooms, high tech computers & tables for expanding achedemics and technical skills, for book & study reports, or explore job hunting for new opportunity endeavors.
  And that gorgeous book reading "Outdoor Patio bench seatings, and the beautiful indoor Bay window seatings as well...
  Great for a book reading nostalgic atmosphere on a wet sunshower day and/or cold rainy, stormy days with a Lil serenity for a spiritual book reader's peace of mind.
  Or for a romantic day dreaming novel experience as well...

  The Jingle festival was fun for kids. They had good Warm Apple Cider, hot chocolate, candied nuts, popcorn, and corn dogs. Activities involved face painting, ring toss, making an ornament, and decorating the tree. All for free.

  I really enjoy any day that I get a chance to go this particular library. I look forward to the vibe and atmosphere that comes along with the patience that's provided every time I visit.
