  This was by far the best dental experience I have ever had. The staff made me feel very comfortable, relaxed and informed about what they were doing. I recommend them to anyone, especially those who don’t look forward to going to the dentist.

  First time at Tidewater Dental Arts and they were fantastic! It was the most thorough cleaning I've ever had. I've had some negative dental experiences at other places in the past. TDA listened to my concerns and made sure I was comfortable. They were also very transparent about prices for dental work I need done. And everyone was very friendly. Love this place!

  I highly recommend Tidewater Dental Arts in Newport News if you have dental anxiety. I have severe anxiety when it comes to dentists and they were completely amazing and understanding and didn't make me feel silly or stupid, even when I started crying during just the X-ray part. The cleaning went smoothly, I simply had to pay out of pocket for the nitrous-oxide. From reception to actual dentist, everyone made me feel calm, safe, and welcomed. They are currently accepting new patients and are in network with United Concordia.

  The staff I was in contact with was wonderful. They have the ability to make you feel very comfortable, even after I snapped at them a couple of times. My dental hygienist was the best I have ever had. I did not have any pain with her doing the x-ray. She did a excellent job. I must say again the best I’ve ever had. The office manager did an excellent job, explaining the procedures cost. She was very patient
  Now, if I can say
  anything about the office, I would say it could use a facelift.
  I think I can push passed that due to the service.

  Super nice people. Made me very comfortable as soon as I arrived. Got me in right at appointment time, explained all the procedures we would be doing and worked in an efficient but friendly manner. Definitely one of the best dental experiences I've ever had!
