“Latesha Bailey is an awesome employee! I called in advance to pick some medical records up and I got to the location at 4:28 P.M. I called and tried to open the front door but it was lock. So by this time I'm standing outside by the entrance hoping somebody would answer me or even ask to see what I'm there for. At 4:32 P.M a representative that worked there walked from the side door, made eye contact with me and then kept walking. I asked could she assist me, she didn't. At 4:34 P.M I gave up and was frustrated because at this time people are leaving the building. I walk back to my car and start to get in my vehicle. The following minute, Latesha Bailey came out to asked me did I need help. I told her I was here to pick up medical records that were left at the front desk for me. She asked for my name and went to grab them. She came back in less than 2 minutes. I wanted to highlight her because even when I showed up basically 2 minutes before closing time, noone bother to even see my purposes for being there. She was the only one who showed empathy and concerned enough "After Hours" to ask me what I was outside waiting for. Employees like this deserve alot of recognition because these are the ones who truly show their line of work is more than a job or career. She is invested and really helping people. This was on Oct 2nd.”

“Marty, Brad, and crew hauled my boat, cleaned/painted the bottom and boot stripe, polished the topsides, and did some minor out-of-the-water maintenance in August of 2020. They are nice people, great to work with, did a thorough and excellent job, kept in touch throughout, gave fair estimates of time and cost, and did it all during a horrible heat wave while I sat in an air-conditioned office. I will go back for my next service.”

“Before leaving Florida for hurricane season, we were looking for a reasonably priced marina in the Chesapeake where we could stay for several months while living aboard. Leeward Municipal Marina was a great find. The staff has been wonderful, and gave us several slip options to choose from. The floating docks and protective sea wall gave us security when several tropical systems blew over this summer. The restrooms and showers are always clean, and there is a courtesy washer/dryer for use. There are no fancy amenities that are offered in other marinas such as wi-fi, but that is reflected in the very reasonable dockage fees. I just hope they have a slip available next summer when we return.”

“Our experience at The Huntington has been excellent. The nursing staff is caring, knowledgeable, and alert. They will work with hospitals, doctor's offices, pharmacies, and physical therapy to get the best outcome. The aides are caring and friendly. The activities coordinator arranges for a variety of activities in the Huntington and also excursions for lunch and shopping. There is something for everyone. On-site beauty/hair services are great. No place is perfect but Huntington staff try and they also listen to residents and make changes where they can. When you need assisted living accommodations, I would recommend this facility to others.”
