  I had a great time living at 201 so much that I’m trying to GET BACK IN THERE ASAP! Jasmine and Lauren treats you as priority and I love them for that… I’d recommend if you want comfort and to be treated fairly… experience 201 living

  I really like living here! I’ve lived here for almost a year and I don’t plan on moving until I leave Portsmouth. My apartment does have dated counter tops and cabinets. The fixtures and hinges in the bathroom are old and rusted. But that doesn’t bother me that much. I have the 1 bedroom with a den and it’s a really great size! The office staff is always super friendly and helpful. Maintenance is wonderful and you never have to wait long for something to be fixed! Usually if you put in a request in the morning it’ll be fixed that day. The package room is a bit annoying since it’s inside the leasing office and can only be accessed during hours the office is open, but not a huge deal. You can get your mail from your mailbox at anytime though. I do wish the pool was open for longer. The pool is open Memorial Day to Labor Day but it’s hot enough to be at the pool before and after those dates. The gym is pretty solid for an apartment gym. It has everything you need to get a workout aside from some of the equipment that no apartment gyms have anyway, like a squat rack or leg press. The area is also great! Within walking distance to so much. Harris Teeter is a 3 min drive. I go on walks all the time around the neighborhood and to nearby shops. I always feel safe in the area. Overall I really like it. It’s not perfect but I don’t have any major complaints.

  This building is PERFECT!!! The website is great, but the community itself is even nicer than it looks on the internet. The prices are fair, the apartments are lovely, the staff and management are outstanding. We enjoy the gym and pool table, the unexpected treats of a 24/7 first-floor complementary coffee bar and a gift-wrapping station (a what??!), a theater, a conference room and business suite which can be reserved, and lovely lounge with comfortable and attractive furnishings. We look forward to warmer days when we will use the outdoor pool, fire pits (3), barbeque grills, and comfortable loungers surrounding the pool. Parking is attached to the building and secure.
  
  We love our neighbors who are a nice mix of students, military individuals and families, and a few retirees like us! The Ghent neighborhood is wonderfully walkable with a selection of diverse restaurants--5 Guys to fine dining, cafes, bars--, a movie theater, and a wide selection of shops (antiques, upscale consignment choices for children and adults, ready access to several grocery stores, a drug store, dry cleaners, and a well-stocked library branch.)
  
  If you are looking for a nice apartment in a terrific neighborhood, come and tour 201 Twenty -One! --and say Sue Keefe sent you. I'll get a reward if you rent following my recommendation.
