(July 21, 2016, 8:40 am)I frequent the Port of Virginia regularly and I can tell you without a doubt that this terminal is far better than Virginia International Gateway (VIG) and Portsmouth Marine Terminal (PMT). The human element here is huge, nothing is automated. The employees are respectful, helpful, and efficient. Usually I'm only here for an hour or less, but even when something goes wrong it's usually dealt with fairly quickly. The Port of Virginia could take a lesson from this particular terminal, truckers would much rather deal with humans than robots.
