  Tammi is the best. She is great at what she does. She delivered my first and only child. I was nervous about doing a home birth at first but the thought of not having her by my side saddened me. I did my research and became excited about what was to come. I must say this was an amazing experience! Tammi has this amazing energy about her. All I had to do was meet her once and I knew she was the one for me. I recommend her to anyone looking to do a homebirth.

  Choosing to work with Tammi was the best decision of my pregnancy. After 18 months of fertility treatments, ending in IVF, and being told my body couldn't do what it was supposed to do, Tammi was a breath of fresh air. She made me feel confident in what my body could do. She gave me the tools to ensure that my home birth would be successful. Also, after my extensive experience with doctors, I had severe anxiety when it came to medical care. Tammi not only made me feel comfortable but expertly gave me the medical care I needed without being pushy or in my space. I delivered at home after 4 hours of labor. Tammi and her assistant made the delivery stress and anxiety free. Working with Tammi was a wonderful experience!

  I chose Tammi after the first interview. I felt extremely welcomed and comfortable since the first day. She was clear about her services, abilities, price and schedule. With several births and with many situations such as multiples and breached babies, I was confident that Tammi would be able to provide care for me and my surprise baby. She respected my decisions for a home birth with as little medical intervention as possible and gave her professional advice, not personal opinion. I would highly recommend Tammi and if I were take the journey again I will call on her.

  Tammi was amazing at helping us feel safe and comfortable to birth our baby! I had a homebirth after two c sections with her less than a week ago and it was such a good experience. We are so thankful to have found her!

  Tammi is a highly skilled and compassionate midwife. She gave me the space to birth the way my body knew how, but was there to support me when I needed reassurance. Not only does she REALLY listen and let you know every concern is valid, but she was available EVERY time I contacted her (day or night) within minutes. I can confidently say she is well known for her vast experience and skill-set in the Tidewater/Hampton Roads area, which gave my husband and myself that extra comfort when deciding on a homebirth. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
