Ocean View Beach Park

Love it here! The waves are a lot calmer and it's much better for families with little ones. We could still touch the sand waist deep. It's very peaceful and not many people. The only thing I did not like was the odor of cannabis that burned our throats. We will go here again.

Absolutely beautiful. Love sitting on the beach here watching the sun rise in the mornings listening to the waves moving in & out. Very peaceful in the mornings with very few people during the early mornings. I can see my feet even when out waist deep. Nice clear water. Not blue but still clear enough to see through.

If you want a sandy beach without the crowds and without the frills, this can be a nice place to take a stroll, rise a bike, enjoy a kite, family picnic and to catch some waves. There is not a lot of money pumped into this area but if you simply want to visit the beach, enjoy the scenery and show the kids a good time without going broke, without the traffic and the ability to set up wherever you want then this is a good option. If you don't like a bit of grunge or if you can do without homeless folks who frequent the area, then it's probably best to visit more traditional beach spots. Mind you, even popular spots have drawbacks so for a nice sunset in the background or a good game of corn hole, try it, you might have fun! There were plenty of families grilling, shade tents, kites, catch , clusters of teens being teens and couples taking in the scenery during our visit.

Went today for 4 hours and it was amazing. Nice beach with playground & loads are room for kids to play. Lots of families were enjoying their day in the sun as well. We will definitely return. I recommend this place to anyone local or passing through 🌊🏖🤍
