(December 28, 2018, 8:07 pm)I visited Artemis today (12/28/2018) to find options for my sweet baby Toki who was diagnosed with kidney failure. When we first arrived we were greeted by the vet tech who was very nice and told us it would be a few minutes and then we checked in at the front desk. We waited no more than 5 minutes and were taken to a room where the same vet tech spoke to us about what has been going on with Toki and she took his vitals and was very thorough and listened to everything we said. Once the vet arrived, she was the nicest lady and asked up front if we were told of the severity of Toki's test results (which we had not by our regular vet who only hinted at the severity). Artemis explained the test results and took her time to make sure we understood completely the choices for treatment and never once brought up how much we wanted to spend on treatment (as others suggested on their reviews), She also explained the treatment options and made sure to let us know that since Toki was in his last stages of kidney failure that treatment may not work, even if they treated him aggressively. Once we made the unfortunate decision to put our baby down, everyone was more than compassionate and treated us like one of the family. We were never rushed and were told to take all the time we needed with our sweet boy prior to and afterwards were also told to take as long as we needed to say our good bye. Thank you for making such a bad situation bearable and treating us with sincere compassion. I couldn't ask for more. I would highly recommend Artemis for any emergency, extended treatment care, or end of life choices.
(December 13, 2018, 12:49 pm)Artemis figured out in one visit what my vet could not after three weeks wasted ans costly visits, stays, fluids etc., while my dog suffered. Staff was professional, caring and helped lift my sick dog in the car. He was euthanized at home.
(August 8, 2018, 12:29 pm)One year ago our cat was dying. The staff was quick and informative about everything. They supported my decisions and helped her come back from death. She is a healthy now and I highly recommended this clinic to any pet parent. One draw back was she did pick up fleas while there.
(August 6, 2018, 11:00 am)My family is so grateful for Artemis. The entire staff was very professional and well-trained. The lead Doctor we saw had an amazing bed-side manner - truly caring for our pet and our position at the most difficult and challenging of times. She did a very thorough exam, completed images and scans, then provided several options to us in order to treat our pet. Highly recommend these folks for your emergency vet needs.
